1. Objectives of the workshop
- Learn the basic principles and purposes of advertising.
- Identify and understand the needs and preferences of the target audience.
- Create compelling and clear advertising messages aligned with educational goals.
- Use design and visual communication principles effectively in ads.
- Choose the right media channels for different advertising campaigns.
- Gain hands-on experience in creating actual advertisements
2. The modus operandi of the work shop
- Stage 1 : Division of students into 10 groups
- Stage 2 : Caption writing for any products by each member of the group followed by it's presentation.
- Stage 3 : Design an advertisement in chart by each group - (Modification of the caption + ideas for presentation)
- Stage 4 : Presentation of the advertisement made on chart.
- Stage 5 : Instructions given by the teacher on the designing of digital advertisement.
- Stage 6 : Script writing on socially relevant and shooting videos according to the plans in groups.
- Stage 7 : Editing of the content created.
- Stage 8 : Publishing in blog for evaluation.
3. The assessment of the yield of the workshop
The workshop is effective and relevant in the following ways :
- Evaluate creativity and relevance of individual captions.
- Assess presentation skills and justification of captions.
- Collect peer reviews on caption effectiveness.
- Teamwork and dynamics.
- Evaluate script relevance and video creativity.
- Assess technical proficiency and creativity in editing.
